Well, the working mom balancing act was not in my favor this week…it’s been a hectic week for me. So to fill the spot of an interesting post on how I got offered an opportunity to work internationally (which I will be posting soon, I promise), here is an interesting article about anticipated job growth for women in the oil and gas sector in the next 20 years. Below is an excerpt from the article.

“While women are projected to grow more in skilled white collar jobs such as petroleum engineers, environmental scientists, accountants and technicians; minority workers are projected to make up more than one-fourth of the management, business and financial job opportunities through 2035.”  

I wish the job growth numbers were even higher for women, and more of those jobs were in management positions as well, but it’s a start! Please click the link below to read the full article.
