This is a great STEAM activity for kids who are interested in helping in the kitchen. They will learn about the hydrophobic nature of cinnamon (and other kitchen spices and powders, if desired), by dipping their finger into a cup of water coated in cinnamon. The cinnamon magically keeps the finger dry and your finger will smell fragrant like cinnamon after!
