As soon as the calendar changes to August I start to focus on what I need to get the kids ready to go back to school. We haven’t had a set schedule all summer, so I’m looking forward to getting everyone back into a routine with set bedtimes, wakeup times, and structured days.

My kids have been home with me everyday this summer. We’ve had so much fun swimming, playing, and hanging out at home. And while I’ve loved spending lazy summer days with my kids, I think we’re all ready for school to start up again!

To get my kids ready for back to school we usually clean out their rooms and desks at home, then buy school supplies, new clothes, and shoes. And once again I had some adorable new STEM-themed clothes gifted to my daughter from small businesses. My daughter is going to look and feel smart in these adorable outfits when she starts pre-K!

Astro dress from Prisma Kiddos

This adorable Astro Dress is from Prisma Kiddos. We love the cute space print on the top, and my daughter appreciates the pink bottom twirly portion of the dress. She loves longer dresses and the color pink, so this dress suited her perfectly. This cotton dress also has pockets which made the dress even more fun for my daughter to wear.

“I Love Science” t-shirt and Super Science leggings from How I Girl

My daughter loves her new “I Love Science” T-shirt and Super Science Leggings from How I Girl. The t-shirt is soft and in my daughter’s favorite colors of purple and pink. The leggings have the cutest science pattern in purple, and my daughter loves the pockets! This is an outfit I know she will wear over and over again this school year.

“Smart Like Mama” t-shirt from Raising Smart Girls

Of course, I love my daughter’s new “Smart Like Mama” t-shirt from Raising Smart Girls. It makes me feel good to see her wearing that shirt and knowing she is looking up to me as her biggest role model. Raising Smart girls also sent me a t-shirt that says “Raising a Smart Girl” which I absolutely love. We love wearing our matching t-shirts out together which never fail to get compliments.
